This piece was thrown on the potter's wheel then once dry enough, carved, to create a textured surface. I used a stain or glaze inside and out to give it color. It was then fired in a high fired gas reduction kiln.
Details:
Clay body: high fired porcelain
Hold: 10oz of liquid
Glaze: Matte green glaze with cobalt stain. All to mimic the ocean.
Size: They all vary but all around - H: 3.5” by W: 3.25”
