This piece was thrown on the potter's wheel then once dry enough, faceted, carved, to create a textured surface. I used a stain or glaze inside and out to give it color. It was then fired in a high fired gas reduction kiln.

Clay body: high fired porcelain
Glaze: Shino glaze with a white glossy glaze on inside and a black under glaze to give it a rough texture on the outside.
